1) What all the courses that are being offered by UK Universities?

UK universities offer a huge range of degree courses both at undergraduate (Bachelors) and postgraduate (Masters) and doctoral level (PhDs). Universities also offer a range of access, diploma and other courses, including the new two-year Foundation Degrees. For more information about the different types of qualification you can contact the Quality Assurance Agency.

2) What is the duration of the Masters programs in UK?

The duration is only 1 year. Some of the MBA programs may take around 1 and half years.

3) I have only 15 Years of education can I enter into MBA?

Yes, U.K. Universities do accept students with 15 Years of education.

4)  What are the tests I need to appear for applying to any U.K University?

Aspirants who seek admission into any UK university will have to appear for IELTS/TOFEL, and the scores min of 6.0 in IELTS / 213 (CBT) in TOEFL/79 (IBT) in TOEFL. However, Applicants with a minimum of 70% in English in Class 12th would not be required to appear for IELTS / TOEFL.

5) What are the basic entry requirements for Masters Program at any UK University?

The entry requirement for Masters Program at any University in U.K is a good First Class Degree (60% and above) in graduation, in a related stream.

6) What is the eligibility criterion for the MBA program at any Universities in U.K?

The Applicant should fulfill the following criteria’s:-

Minimum 2- 3 year’s Full Time work experience after graduation.
First class degree in graduation Age of Boys should be minimum 25 years and that for Girls should be minimum 24 years.

7) What is Conditional Acceptance?

Acceptance is given on condition, either based on IELTS or payment of initial tuition deposit advance.

8) How do I know weather the admissions system is fair or not?

Institutions work hard to ensure that their admissions procedures are fair and transparent. For many popular courses there may be more suitably-qualified applicants than there are places available, so each year some applicants may be disappointed in not being admitted to their first choice of university. The final decision on any individual's application is a matter for the individual institution.

9) How can I know the ranking and accreditation of UK Universities?

In the UK external bodies appointed by the government do ranking assessment for Universities. The objective of these ranking activities is to individually assess every department in the University rather than rate the University overall. The academic assessments include:

Research Assessment Exercise (RAE)
Teaching Quality Assessment (TQA)

In the absence of a League table rating exercises done by Newspapers, Dailies and Magazines come in handy for students and parents to make the right decisions.

As the Government owns all the Universities it accredits all of them. In addition to this some Universities get added accreditation from external agencies for some of the courses offered by them. For example, MBA programs are accredited by the British Association of MBAs (AMBA).

10) What is the last date for filing University Application?

There is no official closing date for application filing with most of the Universities, as most or all of the UK Universities offer admission to students on a first-come-first-serve, provided the student fulfill the entry requirements. But as the University takes a minimum of 4weeks and a maximum of 8weeks for issuing the offer letter and also as the student is required to get his visa, which might add some more time to the process it is recommended that the student file his application at the earliest by February or at the latest by early July for the September intake and by November for the February intake.

An early application apart from enhancing the student chances of getting a successful offer would also give the student the added advantage of applying for scholarships and ensuring the best of accommodation.

11) Suppose I decide not to proceed to UK after receiving the admission letter due to personal reasons, would I get the refund?

Only in case of visa rejection is deposit refunded. Genuine reasons may be considered, but it depends, solely on the university.
